Top Marques Monaco 2011: Melkus RS2000 GT and GTS

Monaco Auto Show from this year, called Top Marques Monaco 2011 was opened and as expected, he greeted its visitors with a landscape sprinkled only with supercars more or less exclusive.

Among the bombs which made their appearance Melkus RS2000 in GT and GTS versions could not miss. Both vehicles are equipped with a carbon fiber body shell and features a kit for the interior. Cars shows an adjustable suspension system from Oehlins, and a set of high-performance brakes.

RS2000 GT hides under the hood a unit that produces 300 horsepower (220 kW) while the GTS version boasts a stud of 350 horses (257 kW). Top speed is 300 km/h (186 mph) in both models, but sprint time from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) differ. Thus, RS2000 GT reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and RS2000 GTS promises a time off 3.9 seconds.

Melkus RS2000 GT starting price is set at 122,000 euros (175,692$/107,667 sterling), while in the case of RS2000 GTS value reaches at 148.000 euros (213,134$/130,613 sterling).
