Official: Peugeot presents its new concept SXC, direct opponent for Nissan Qashqai

Peugeot published a few pictures with the new creation made in collaboration with Peugeot Technology Center in Shanghai. The concept is called SxC and prefigures a pattern that would be a fearsome opponent for Nissan Qashqai.

SxC is an acronym for Shanghai cross Concept. The body is dressed in design more refined and more seductive than the Qashqai's case, an element found especially on the front and rear. The concept shows a series of doors opening opposite, which could be introduced on the production version.

Paugeot SxC is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system consisting of a diesel unit and an electric motor, each one putting in motion an axis. Alternatively, the machine can also work in electric mode, but autonomy will be significantly reduced. This hybrid system will be launched on the 3008 model this year.
