The first image of the Chevrolet Malibu, Opel Insignia's U.S. brother

Chevrolet released the first image with exterior of the new Malibu on their Facebook page, which incorporates the Insignia's silhouette, but retains typical european features of the american manufacturer.

Picture reveals the front of the model, represented by double grille, headlamps form, similar to the recently launched models. We can easily observe also slightly aggressive hood lines, which gives a very elegant allure. The back could be the real delight of the body, given that Chevrolet, said in a statement that their source of inspiration will be the sporty models, including Corvette. We expect a very attractive back, loaded with ostentatious shapes.

Chevrolet Maiibu will be sold in more than 100 countries. On April 18, the model will be launched on the Internet in the United States. On April 19, Americans will present their latest creation to the Shanghai Auto Show.
