The future small class model from Infiniti will hide under the hood an engine with German roots. It is a CGI turbo 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine Mercedes-Benz provenance that produces 201 horsepower and CO2 emissions of 178 g/km.
New Japanese model with German propulsion will be a hatchback coupe, similar to Mercedes GLC but will take a lot of aesthetic elements from the Essence concept.
Serial version of this vehicle will be based on a platform developed by Renault-Nissan alliance. The next Megane will also benefit of this platform.
But the collaboration between Mercedes and Infiniti will not stop here, the Japanese wanting to develop a future model with more generous dimensions, also with a German unit under the hood.
