Today, at the factory from Leipzig, BMW has announced it will introduce into series production a sports car inspired by the Vision Efficient Dynamics concept.BMW said in a statement: "There was a generalized desire to put the car into production (Vision EfficientDynamics) and the fulfillment of this desires is nearer. At the fair in Leipzig BMW shows the technology completed, ready to enter into production, put on a car based on Vision EfficientDynamics concept."
The car is a hybrid. It is equipped with a 3-cylinder turbo engine of 1.5 liters and two electric motors. The power of this fireball is 241 kW (328 hp). Average consumption of this vehicle is 3.76 l/100 km. The Co2 emissions are 99 g/km. The new fireball, has a range of 700 km, but only if running with electric motors, has a range of 50 km. Drag coefficient of this model is only 0.22.
