The new Porsche 911 was spied during secret tests. During the tests, was surprised both the coupe, and convertible by the photographers.At first glance, we see very small changes in the exterior. 911 facelift is a bit longer and wider than its predecessor. Other changes have been applied to headlights, side sills and front fenders. The rear elements of the concept has received some 918 Spyder.
There is a very big similarity between the interior of 911 and the one of Panamera. On the inside the buyers will have Burmester stereos, an improved leather and more.
From the mechanical point of view, the new 911 will be equipped with the same suspension found on the future Boxster to reduce the price. But the rear suspension and the way how the adaptable dampers were processed remain unique.
Under the hood of 911, whose code name is 991, there will be a 3.6-liter engine whose power is now bigger with 20 horses (365 hp) and torque is 400 Nm, 20 Nm higher than the previous generation.
The standard version of the 911 will have a 6-speed manual gearbox and the 7-speed PDK will be an option
Porsche 911 facelift will be present at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
