Land Rover has released official pictures and informations about the five-door version of the Evoque model .God, I think that for the orders for this model for British will not be enough not even a paper with the size of Buckingham Palace. This so tempting view makes me believe that sales will reach tremendous odds. I believe the new Evoque is the most beautiful existing crossover at this time and in the future, few opponents will be able to withstand it.
This model has a windshield 60 millimeters longer than in 3-door version, luggage compartment door also shows some differences from the model with three doors. The ceiling is higher with 40 millimeters on the back and 30 mm in front. The difference in weight between the two versions is just 30 kilograms. Those of Land Rover said that all Evoque models will be offered with MagneRide adaptive damping system to improve road handling without compromising the performances on the road.
Beyond the futuristic look of the exterior, what i don't really like is the interior, which seems somehow in contrast with the exterior, at least in terms of board.
Evoque version will be available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive version. The 3-door version with front-wheel drive, equipped with a 2.2 liter diesel engine that develops 150 horses will be emit under 130 g CO2 and five-door version will have emissions of 135 g/km. Besides the 150 hp engine, there will be two other engine options, which is a diesel engine of 190 horsepower and a turbocharged 2-liter petrol propeller which will develop 240 hp.
So far, no price information was offered about the version with five doors.
New Land Rover Range Rover Evoque will be present this month in Los Angeles, both versions are available for sale next summer.
