According to Auto Express, Q5 hybrid will be powered by a 208 hp TFSI petrol engine of, which will be accompanied by a 44 hp (33 kW) electric motor .The new hybrid will be equipped with the famous Quattro four-wheel drive system, by which power will be delivered to all four wheels.
Only with the electric motor, the car can reach a top speed of 100 km/h (62 mph), but in this way has a range of only 2.88 km. Q5 hybrid has a so-called S mode, through which operates both motors, hybrid drive train thus developing 241 hp and 480 Nm.
Unfortunately, informations about consumption or CO2 emissions are unknown, but according to Auto Express, Q5 hybrid will reach 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h, being faster than the Lexus RX450h, whose values are 7.8 seconds and 198 km/h.
The Audi Q5 hybrid will be present at L.A. Motor Show.
