Mercedes is working intensely to the fully electric version of S-Class, whose fate is not well known yet. Mercedes has not yet managed to break the tradition of highly polluting engines, the Stuttgart manufacturer having in the range vehicles with the highest level of CO2 emissions in Europe. It's a long road, which first of all needs a total change of mentality of the bosses in Stuttgart.
Thomas Weber, the German brand's technical director said the model will enter the market only if a large number of customers will want this.
So far, we have to thank only with the huge future offer of hybrid models which will enter showrooms in the coming years.
