Toyota FT-86 II could benefit from a hybrid version

Those from AutoExpress have launched a new rumor that claims Toyota FT-86 could have a hybrid version in the future. It will make its debut not long after the standard version.

New Japanese hybrid will be offered with rear-wheel drive, which would become the first rear-wheel drive hybrid sport model developed by Toyota.

As for Subaru's FT-86 version, it was not present at Geneva eventually, because the manufacturer develops a more aggressive version of it.

Both models could be launched at the Tokyo Motor Show in late 2011.
