Chrysler will launch this year at Geneva the new Jeep Grand Cherokee equipped with a 3.0 liter MultiJet II turbodiesel engine, with Italian roots, being Fiat provenance. The engine will develop 241 hp (177 kw) at 4,000 rpm and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque between 1800 and 2800 rpm.Average consumption is 8.3 litres/100 km (28 mpg) and CO2 emissions are 218 g/km.
It will be offered on the European market by the end of the first half of the year.
