Official: Ford B-Max - the new model was unveiled and it will be assembled in Craiova, Romania

Ford unveiled the new B-Max MPV that will compete with the new Opel Meriva. B-Max is scheduled to debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

As expected, the fresh takes model takes the same design line applied to the rest of the range.

Ford B-Max is based on the Fiesta's platform. The model has a little over four meters in length, being only 11 cm longer than the Fiesta. Sliding rear passenger doors, the item provides increased access inside, which incorporates many elements of the Fiesta and Focus. Customers will be greet by touchscreen system and other delights.

B-Max is equipped with a turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost found on the Start concept launched last year in Beijing. The unit is equipped with a turbocharger. Also, the car has start-stop system for better fuel efficiency.

New Ford B-Max will be assembled at Ford plant from Craiova in Romania.
