Toyota has unveiled the RAV4 EV concept at the Los Angeles Motor Show, which was developed in collaboration with the Americans from Tesla.The new concept has a range of only 160 km, but those from Toyota have mentioned that the serial version of Toyota's RAV4 Ev will have a much greater autonomy. Unfortunately, this version will be released only in 2012. This model is developed in the United States of America. Toyota plans to launch this model in some European markets in 2012.
Tesla-Toyota alliance will create other electric models in the future on other segments. If Americans and Japanese will continue this partnership, Toyota will certainly take full advantage of innovative technology of the Americans, and TESLA will introduce several specific Toyota elements on their cars.
