Video: 2011 GMC Sierra All Terrain HD Concept

GMC Sierra All Terrain HD Concept. Lord, a longer name they haven't been able to give to this concept? Looks good, but certainly not fascinating. Big, powerful, polluting, with a huge consumption, as almost any American pickup. It is admirable that it has very good off-road abilities. But we Europeans, or at least most of us, simply are not accustomed with this sort of monsters. We like more a Range Rover Sport, BMW X5, why not a Mercedes ML, Porsche Cayenne is not bad either. On "Trucks" chapter we prefer something like VW Amarok or Toyota Hilux. Maybe Americans would call them ladybugs comparing with their "dinosaurs". Many things are beautiful in America, especially women, but pickup trucks are not among my preferences.

The new
GMC concept is the main enemy of Ford F-150 Raptor SVT.

Under its hood lies a diesel 6.6-liter V8
Duramax engine capable of delivering 397 horsepower (296 kw) and a massive torque of 1037 Nm (765 lb-ft). That's not a truck, it's a tank!

However, considering it's a diesel, maybe in terms of consumption it's more effective than his opponents.

The model can carry a load of 1225 kg (2700 pounds). The truck has a towing capacity of 5896 kg (13000 pounds).
