Mazda Shinari

Mazda, one of the leading Japanese manufacturers, will present a concept in Paris this year, a concept at least attractive. The name of this concept is Shinari.

Shinari makes us believe that over the next decade, we'll see on the front of the cars made by Mazda this pentagonal grille, which gives a special charm to Shinari. The Japanese will continue to improve their cars design, as before, fact whose effectiveness is confirmed by sales success.

Mazda Shinari was created by Mazda designers from the U.S., Germany and Japan, and the head of this project is called Ikuo Maeda. Maeda is also responsible for Mazda RX-8 and Mazda 2, cars which have enjoyed a great success in terms of sales. Ikuo's father, Matasaburo Maeda, has conceived in the 70's Mazda RX-7, which pushes us to think that Shinari is a tribute to RX-7 range ... or a way they want to foretell the coming of RX-9?

In terms of design, Shinari is the first car that has been implemented the KODO artistic language. KODO is an organic style, which replaces the style used on the Nagare concept.

That's about all regarding Mazda Shinari.
