De Tomaso, a brand that most of us have not even heard of, is one of the most exclusive brands of the '60s and '70s. Unfortunately, this brand, in the past ten years, has been constantly on the threshold of bankruptcy.Ghepardo is a concept whereby those from De Tomaso want to be again on the car scene. This concept is a tribute to a little-known model, Deauville, which in 1971 was the fastest sedan. But the best known model remains Pantera. Ghepardo is the creation of Danish designer Frederick Tjellesen.
Tjellesen seems that wanted to inflict to Ghepardo the theme of "coupe with four doors", rear doors are fitted ... in the most unexpected possible way. It seems that the opponents on the segment of De Tomaso Ghepardo are Aston Martin Rapide, Porsche Panamera and Fisker Karma. I think that if will hit the market will create very serious problems to the competitors mentioned above . Consumption and harmful emissions are much smaller, because those from De Tomaso have added to Ghepardo a fuel-cell propulsion system, which means an electric motor located at each wheel, each producing 110 horses , electricity is produced by the fuel-cell system mentioned above, based on methanol, placed below the trunk.
You should know also that this car has a 500 liter trunk, which due to unconventional rear doors (when they are open), the acces is only from the side.
