The new C63 AMG Coupe comes with a revised exterior, the design is a pretty exciting one, which not departs from the model that is based on. Front bumper shows us a series of very elegant LEDs. On the outside we can see some air intakes, a profile which wears the "6.3 AMG" badge, 18-inch alloy wheels with five spokes. All these elements are meant to highlight the fact that it is not a standard C-Class, but the variant "with fangs" of it.
Also, designers have decorated the new sports model with two dual exhaust pipes covered by chromium, a wind deflector and a black spoiler on the trunk, which not emphasizes the car's sporty character too much.
Regarding the engine, it is a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 that delivers 451 hp (336 kw/457 PS) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque.
German model runs from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds, top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). C63 AMG is equipped with a Speedshift MCT 7-speed gearbox, offering mode Controlled Efficiency. This mode, together with a new steering technology implemented will offer an increased efficiency in fuel consumption.
For the more demanding, the German manufacturer offers a special performance package, so that the new model will offer a stud of 481 horses (354 kw/488 PS), and will reach 100 km/h (62 mph) 0.1 seconds faster.
Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe is scheduled for launch at the Auto Show in New York in April and the European debut will take place in July.
