Renault unveiled the new Capture crossover

Capture is a two-seater concept that the French will bring to Auto Show in Geneva.

Renault claims the new concept weighs 1,300 kgand and that is a blend between a coupe, a convertible, a city car and an off-roader. When the roof is removed, he points out the carbon fiber framework.

Capture's production version, if will ever see the
day light of, will fight on the market with the Nissan Juke.

The new concept benefits of 22-inch wheels, that reminds of those from Renault Dezir.

From an aesthetic point of view, the new Capture is loaded with very elegant lines. Seems like a car made
generally for the young people, especially for the female public.

Responsible for the design of Capture is Julio Lozano.

The body is painted with a special
orange shade, which also dominates the inside, where we see different fluorescent highlights and translucent finish on the center console, on the dashboard and door casings. The seats and steering wheel are covered with a gray leather.

Through this prototype, Renault plans to launch also the Visio system, which uses a camera mounted at the top of the windscreen, and it is designed to monitor weather conditions and warn the driver about some potential dangers that are waiting in front.

The concept is equipped with a
Energy twin-turbo 1.6-liter dCi engine able to deliver 158 horsepower. It features a dual-clutch gearbox. 99g/km is the polluting emissions value.

Capture makes sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8 seconds.
