According to Autocar, the German manufacturer will launch in 2012 a longer wheelbase version of the Panamera, which is designed for China and North America markets.The standard version of the model has a wheelbase of 2920 mm, but longer-wheelbase variant will be 3040 mm. The Germans want, through this element, to provide a wider opening of the rear doora and thus an increased access to the rear seats.
The model will be based on a facelift of the Panamera, which is scheduled to debut until 2012.
