Mercedes offers complete details about the new Coupe of the German House. The Coupe is designed to replace the GLK, which is out of production from 2009.As expected, the coupe takes the sedan platform, length being the same: 4590 mm. But the roofline is shorter by 41 mm than in the sedan.
The model will be launched in June, and will feature five different engines, two diesel and three gasoline propellers. Is about the entry-level unit C180 petrol and 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 152 horsepower. The engine is assisted by a 5-speed manual transmission. The price is set at 35,609 euros (48,196$/30,000 pounds). Top of the line, 350 CGI is a V6 engine that produces 302 horses.
Mercedes also offers for this model a 220 CDI diesel variant of 161 hp, a 250 CDI 197 hp and a 250 CGI petrol versiuni, capable of producing 197 horsepower.
AMG version will be equipped with a V8 non-turbo 5.5-liter engine, which delivers a stud of 418 hp.
The interior is inspired by the E-Class and the trunk shows a capacity of 450 liters, like the sedan.
