Gumpert Tornante - a new supercar to Geneva

Among the supercars that will attract attention in Geneva this year we have to include the Tornante, a fireball built by Gumpert, a German manufacturer not well known.

Those guilty of Tornante's design are the Italians from Touring Superleggera, among whose creations include the elegant Bentley Continental Estate.

Apollo was the first model of the Gumpert, but it was not well received by the public because of appearance, but the new Tornante will benefit from a more spacious and comfortable interior.

Monocoque body of the meteor will be built of carbon fiber. Tornante will have a V8 engine placed centrally, which might be an upgraded version mounted on the Apollo. The total mass will be significantly reduced by implementing
carbon fiber body panels.
