Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse facelift



The new C-Klasse shows some changes both inside and outside. From an aesthetic point of view, the Germans have put more emphasis on the inside. In the body, the facelift has a redesigned front bumper, a changed grille and some lights that also presents some modifications, each with an extension towards the wings. As an option, Mercedes offers for C-Klasse bi-xenon headlights with LEDs that will have letter C shape. Regarding the posterior, the facelift benefits of LED taillights and a restyled bar.

As I said, the interior received the most important changes. Thus, many of the plastic items have been removed. The model is equipped with a new steering wheel, a redesigned board, different wood inserts, ventilation slots and many other things. German manufacturer indulge his customers by offering them as optional delight a high-resolution screen for the multimedia system.

Regarding engines, Start/Stop system will be in standard on all existing variants, except 4Matic versions. Because of this system and other new features implemented on the motorizations, the German engineers were able to significantly reduce fuel consumption on the entire C-Klasse range. In 2011, Mercedes will introduce the 7G-Tronic transmission in case of C-Klasse range. But it will be introduced initially on the C250 CDI 4MATIC model. It should be noted that the German manufacturer has applied on the C-Klasse facelift also the DISTRONIC Plus and Attention Assist sistems.

The market launch will take place in January 2011.
