Wiesmann Spyder, the new creation by which Wiesmann was present in Geneva

Spyder is a radical concept that departs from the Wiesmann design line, but also from our times, seemingly a vehicle landed in 2011 from a future more or less distant. Spyder is a mixture between a fireball circuit, a coupe and a roadster.

The aluminum body features a very futuristic design with fluid lines. The designers have renounced to the windscreen and the rear doors. The interior greets us with a multifunction steering wheel.

Spyder has an eight-cylinder unit with 4 liters and 420 horsepower, from BMW, which is similar to the M3. The concept reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than four seconds and top speed is 290 km/h (180 mph).

Wiesmann has not provided information on a possible production version, even on a limited edition. If the public will give positive feedback, after 2012 there could be a derivative.
