Spy Photos: Mercedes-Benz SLS Roadster completely undisguised

Meet the new Mercedes-Benz Roadster SLS stripped of camouflage. Although it was spied on other occasions, and even appeared "in flesh and bones" in the Superbowl commercial, these are the first spy photos of the highly awaited model which appears without a bit of camouflage, precisely because it came very close to launch and the public has already had the occasion to admire the German roadster in the advertisement mentioned above.

German convertible features a simple roof, which has nothing in common with the convertible variant of the SL-Class to minimize overall weight.

Basically, the only differences between the coupe and roadster are the roof and doors, which are conventional in case of the convertible, element which I personally like much more.

Under the bodywork, no changes are available. We find the same 6.2-liter V8 engine of 563 horsepower (420 kW/571 PS), connected to a 7 reports transmission with double clutch.

The model will be launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show and sales will start shortly afterwards.
