Seat will launch four new models in 2012

According to AutoExpress, Seat wants to bring on the market four new models in 2012, in order to eliminate the very low level of sales they had in recent years.

In 2010, the Spanish manufacturer has had financial losses of 354 million euros (311,000,000 sterling/496.915,000 U.S. dollars), which is why Volkswagen decided that the factory where the future Audi Q3 will be assembled is the SEAT plant in Martorell, near Barcelona, which has a capacity of assembling 500,000 vehicles per year.

Seat boss, James Muir said that Seat will launch four new models in 2012: the new Leon, a new entry-level model, a four-door sedan and a major facelift for the Ibiza.

Both the Audi Q3, and future Seat models will address to the Chinese market in particular.

The entry level model will be the successor of Arosa.

In 2013, in Martorell, will also be assembled the IBX crossover.

All these elements will create 1,200 jobs.
