Jaguar will launch a 2.2-liter diesel version of the XF




Jaguar will launch a new entry-level version in case of the XF. The new variant will be equipped with a 2.2 liter diesel engine with four cylinders.

No official information related to power and other issues, but rumors indicate a stud of 190 horses (140 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque, some say it could be an output of 200 horses (147 kW). The model will reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8.5 seconds and promises harmful emissions will not exceeding 149 g/km and an average consumption of 4.5 litres/100 km (52 mpg). It is possible that the engine to be connected to a six-speed automatic transmission.

New entry-level version si also a facelift that will bring some changes in the entire range.

The model will compete with the BMW 520d, the most economical version of the 5 Series.
