De Tomaso wants to create a modern interpretation of the legendary Panther, which was launched 40 years ago. It was one of the most special supercars of all time. By its spectacular design, the Italians have managed to create a masterpiece that has shocked the whole world. Even today, from the height of 2011, we remain impressed by the beauty of this legend on four wheels.

The SLC has not been so well received by the public, which is why many are skeptical about the Italians abilities to create a modern version worth of Pantera's design reputation.

Pantera is expected to debut this year at Los Angeles Auto Show.

There will be a third model in the range of De Tomaso. It's about a luxury sedan, which will be launched in late 2012.
