Cadillac offer for European market

Cadillac will try to conquer the third time in one way or another the Europeans hearts. But the American manufacturer simply does not want to believe that it will be very hard to get any consistent profit in Europe, without even at least one diesel offer.

Dan Akerson, chief of General Motors, said in a statement: "The only thing you can do is try, try and try again with Cadillac in Europe", a sign that failure they had for years in Europe, didn't made them understand not even today that Europeans are not interested only in the appearance of the car, but also in consumption, which definitely will be more efficient with a diesel engine.

At the Geneva Motor Show this year, Cadillac has brought the XTS concept, which is the new design line that will be applied on the cars for the European market. But the model does not have any variant equiped with a four-cylinder diesel engine mounted longitudinally, according to Autocar.

Akerson concluded that will be very difficult for Cadillac to fight against European giants, which have a richer and more tempting offer.
