Smart has released images and information with the new concept, called Forspeed, which will be presented next month at the Geneva Motor Show.Smart Forspeed is an electric-powered roadster, whose main advantage is the complete lack of harmful emissions.
Smart has a rear-mounted electric motor that develops 40 horses, 47 by overboost function. Top speed is 120 km/h (75 mph) and reaches 135 km (84 miles) autonomy.
Many elements of this concept will not exist on version number, instead the next generation Fortwo will be based on this prototype.
