Saab 9-3 facelift will be present in Geneva



Saab will expose this year at the Swiss saloon the facelift of the venerable 9-3.

Outside the model appears to migrate to 9-5 model, confirms it the front end, whose bumper was modified. Neither lights were exempt from the
restyling treatment, and they are similar to those of 9-5.

The interior has been revised, receiving among other elements also some metal inserts. Overall, the Swedish model is more elegant.

Under the hood will be available two new petrol turbo engines, which will offer 163 horsepower and 220 respectively.

There will also be diesel versions. We're talk about the TTiD engines. In this way Sportwagon variant will give emissions of 119 g/km and fuel consumption of 3.7 l/100 km (62.8 mpg).

Saab has launched a special edition of its 9-3 convertible, named Independence Edition, in order to celebrate the first year without GM, the former owner of the Swedish brand. 9-3 Independence Edition comes with a
1.9-liter twin-turbodiesel unit assisted by an automatic transmission. It also has a series of 18-inch alloy wheels.

The interior benefits from parchment sport leather seats.
