Alpina B5 Touring

Alpina will present its latest creation at the Geneva Motor Show. The German model is named B5 Touring and is based on the estate version of the BMW M5.

Under the hood lies the same 4.4-liter turbo engine, assisted by an eight-speed transmission, taken from the 5 Series sedan. The unit develops 500 hp and 700 Nm (516 ft lb) of torque.

Among theoptions, customers will also have a limited slip differential.

BMW announced in the fall, the SW version of M5 will go out of production, which means that the offer of the Alpina will be the only option for people who want a more practical version of the BMW M5.
