Jaguar C-X75 was introduced at Paris Motor Show, and the British from Jaguar were overwhelmed by the audience reaction.
Ian Callum, chief designer at the British company, believes that Jaguar needs a car like this. He said: "It’s no secret that the reception we’ve had for C-X75 has been fantastic." He also mentioned that company bosses will not allow such a reaction to be lost without even a discussion about how it can best be harnessed.
Callum's statements were strengthened by Jaguar Land Rover boss, Carl-Peter Forster, who said such a project would mean consuming a lot of resources and that they have not reached a conclusion regarding this project.
Even if it's not sure that C-X75 will go into production, one thing is sure, some elements of this concept, such as grille, will be found to future Jaguar sports cars.
The car features a hybrid drive train. Can travel 112 km in electric mode, but if the diesel engine is used, the British jewel has a range of 896 km. Engine under the hood of C-X75 is capable to deliver 778 horsepower.
The concept Jaguar C-X75 is able of reaching 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h. The fireball weighs just 1,350 kg.
