BMW has unveiled the first official information and images related to the new 1 Series M Coupe.
Thus, the new German model is equipped with the same engine like Z4 sDrive 35is. The propeller is a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder, capable to deliver 340 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, 450 plus 50 by overboost. German bolide is capable of reaching 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The car benefits of manual gearbox with six reports.
The new model has a bigger gauge and weighs 1495 kg. The most powerful variant of 1 Series M Coupe has 19-inch wheels dressed with tires of 245/35 (front) and 265/35 (rear).
The new BMW 1 Series M Coupe will be officially launched at Detroit Motor Show in January. European debut is scheduled for spring 2011.
