BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics concept will go into series production

BMW Board decided to approve the mass production of the famous concept, Vision. If the series version will resemble a lot with this concept, certainly many in the leadership of Mercedes and Audi will hit the table with the fist ... or at least will feel the need to do that, because rivals SLS AMG and the R8 will have big problems in front of the Bavarian model.

Serial version of concept, will be a hybrid that could be recognized as the i1 or i100.

The design is futuristic and will hide under the hood an internal combustion engine, 3-cylinder 1.5-liter, which will develop 184 hp. This engine will be joined by two other engines, this time electric, each of 95 horsepower. The total power is about 400 horsepower.

The car will have a very small weight
, the bodywork being made of carbon fiber.

German fireball can reach 100 km/h in just four seconds, and consumption has an incredible amount of 4 litres/100 km.

A welcome effect of the hybrid architecture (strongly increased by the two electric motors), is that of managing perfect the power between the two axes, meaning that the Vision will also have four-wheel drive.

BMW also wishes that from the serial version of the German firreball to derive a successor of M1. This will have two units which will be powered by 2 electric engines, accompanied by a 6-cylinder turbo
engine, which will be met on the future M3, the F30 generation.

According to rumors, the price of street version Vision Efficient Dynamics, will range between 125,000 and 175,000 euros.
