Officials from Peugeot recently announced the full details about the model 508.Under the bonnet of the Peugeot 508 is an e-HDi propeller with Start/Stop technology. There are eight available engines, three on petrol and five diesel. Regarding transmission, there are two optional gearboxes: a 6-speed manual electronically controlled and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The most economic engine that you can choose is a 1.6-liter HDi FAP, which develops 112 hp and 285 Nm of torque, connected to a 6-speed EGC transmnission. In case of this engine, the consumption is 5 liters/100km, having the value of CO2 emissions of 109 g/km. The 2.2-liter HDi FAP version, which equips also the GT version, develops 204 hp and 450 Nm of torque, with a 6-speed manual transmission. The value of value CO2 emissions is 150 g/km.
In case of petrol engines, the most powerful engine has a power of 156 hp, 240 Nm of torque, while the CO2 is 150 g/km.
