Porsche is preparing the Boxster electric version. Some information say that in Germany, three prototypes of electric variant Boxster, are tested.The three vehicles are each equipped with a pair of electric motors, powered from a 29 kWh battery. Each set of engines produces 241 horsepower. Sources from Autocar indicates a sprint from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 273 km/h (170 mph).
The Porsche's it's not having the intention to introduce a serial version of these prototypes, but the information obtained from these tests will utilize them in developing the following electric models.
