With the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the original Shelby GT350, Shelby American has launched the brand new GT350 with the inauguration Barrett-Jackson parade in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The new GT350 is presented with a supercharged version of the new 5.0 liter V8 engine, along with numerous improvements made by companies like Ford Racing, Borla, Cragar, Baer, and other companies. Carroll Shelby has reminded the public that in 1964, Ford Motor Company has requested the help of the Shelby American to make their Mustangs cars for racing in order to increase sales. The original GT350 is out of production from 1970.
As we can see in the pictures, the new GT350 comes with a new bodykit, very aggressive, while under the hood, it has not less than 500 horsepower. Those from Ford Racing, mentioned above, have changed the suspension for better behavior on the track, while Baer and Borla ... brakes and exhaust.
The price of a copy? $ 33,995! pity that in Europe, if you want a supercar of 500 horses, generally you have to pay over 100,000 euros (about 120,000 US dollars).
