Porsche Boxster Spyder - 320 HP

Weighing just 1275 kg, the new Boxster Spyder is the lightest model in the Porsche range. Recognizable at first glance, the new centrally located engine roadster, is the most pure sports car from Porsche - light, strong, convertible and very efficient.

This is the formula already applied to the most successful models for street and racing sports, from the legendary 550 Spyder to the RS Spyder, with excellent results in motorsport.
The in line six-cylinder 3.4-liter direct injection develops 320 hp, with 10 more than the Boxster S. The traction is on the rear axle and the gearbox PDK (optional) with Launch Control system allows an acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 267 km/h. Fuel consumption, also with the PDK transmission, is only 9.3 litres/100 km.

Developed primarily for driving in the open-air, soft-top roof serves only to protect the driver and passenger of bright sunshine, wind or precipitations.

The new Porsche Boxster Spyder will enter on the market in February 2010 as the third variant of the model, after Boxster and Boxster S. The basic price for the new Porsche Boxster Spyder is 53,100 euros without taxes.
