Spy Shots: BMW testing the new 5 Series GT

When you say "GT", you instantly think of a sports car, covered with elegant and very aggressive lines, more air intakes and a generous stud under the hood. Germans insult themselves with such a car. Basically, the 3 Series GT has taken that feature from 5 Series GT: the fact that's downright HIDEOUS. In recent years only served to disappoint in terms of aesthetics. GT 5-Series sales in the U.S. were quite low, certainly at least a good part of the remaining markets haven't received it with open arms. Simply, when you see its back, it seems so ridiculous , the simple presence of the model in the BMW range is a true blasphemy. Now the Germans want to bring this grinder. I hope the future X5 to be even more beautiful than the current one, and INFINITELY more economical and even something cheaper, althought that could mean placing an entry-level diesel engine much smaller than the 300 horses (220 kW). At least they released many safety systems more effective than other manufacturers.

According to sources, the front will be completely different from the rest of this model range.

No details are known about the launch or engines, but we expect this version to feature the same engines as the rest of the range.
