Chevrolet Camaro 45th Anniversary Special Edition





American beast got to the 45th anniversary, that General Motors wants to adorn offering fans a special edition of the famous American model.

The model has been presented the day before the famous Indianapolis 500 competition. Under the hood is a new variant of the 3.6-liter V6 engine with direct injection, capable of delivering 323 horsepower (241 kW) at 6800 rpm. Camaro's 2011 version is equipped with an engine that develops 312 HP (232 kW). The version presents different elements of the 2012 Camaro.

Fireball benefits of aluminum wheels, wrapped with P245/45R20 tires (front), P275/40R20 tires got back. The American muscle car has a new FE4 suspension, which is intended to streamline performance and car handling. This suspension will also equip the 2012 Camaro SS Coupe.

Camaro 45th Anniversary Special Edition comes with many items that will be introduced throughout the model range since 2012. The interior has been completely revised. Engineers have added a lift to the front passenger seat. This edition offers customers a new steering wheel with improved ergonomics.

Another delight is the back-vision package, which comes with a reversing camera and a mirror with auto-dimming to the current system Park Assist.

Chevrolet Camaro 45th Anniversary Special Edition is equipped with several design elements like a red stripe/silver contrasting with carbon black and white inserts on the doors. Also, the manufacturer offers a medallion at the bottom of the steering wheel, which is topped with some white and blue stitching, which exists also in the seats.

There is no information about the number of copies available, but the new edition will be sold starting this summer.
