The model will have only three doors and will take the 6.75-liter V8 engine from the Mulsanne, which currently develops 505 hp (371 kW) and a hallucinating torque of 1020 Nm (752 lb-ft). But under the bonnet of the Turbo R, it could produce about 600 horsepower (447 kW).
Mulsanne do sprint from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.1 seconds, which means that the Turbo R would reach this speed in less than five seconds. Surely powertrain will present serious improvements, which will differentiate it from the Mulsanne.
There are no official information on the launch, but some rumors indicate that in 2013 we could see the official unveiling of the new Turbo R.
