Spy Shots: Opel Astra GTC is getting undress from a few secrets

Those from Opel are testing the new Opel Astra GTC, which will debut at this year's Frankfurt Auto Show.

While the camouflage tries to cover almost all areas, some headlights of the serial variant are quite visible, like the taillights and trunk line.

The interior will suffer only a few electronic adjustments until the release. What there will not exist anymore on the new GTC is the panoramic roof.

Astra OPC will be launched in Geneva, six months later after GTC, market debut will take place in 2012. OPC will have a new engine that will develop 50 more horses than the previous generation, which means about 300 horses. OPC is the main opponent of the new Megane RS. The drivetrain has been extensively tested in England, to rise to the standards of main rival for Renault Megane RS.
