Mini Rocketman could enter series production

Ian Robertson, head of marketing and sales department from Mini, made some statements for Autocar that have made it clear that this concept could enter series production.

But one thing is certain, Rocketman is the new design direction for the British company. Robertson said the light structure and new types of components of this new model will be applied on the future Mini models.

Mini will launch in 2013 a coupe and a convertible, they will take up many elements of this concept. They will be based on a BMW platform.
