Official: Opel/Vauxhall Zafira Tourer has been unveiled

Opel today offered the first official pictures and information about the new Zafira Tourer. The design is borrowed from the Ampera. Zafira has been awarded a "lounge on wheels", which wants to say that the new German van can be considered as a second home for future owners, it offers through the current design a pleasant sensation in all respects.

The exterior received a series of LED lights. Bi-xenon headlamps and fog were placed behind a plexiglass housing. As of the posterior, it greets us with the same design line, where we see LED lights accompanied by a chromed line. Evictions are having parallelogram shape and are offering a more sporting allure to the German model.

The interior is covered with a refinement that you get drunk with the desire to remain permanently in it. It is possible that new van to be the most luxurious in its class. The interior benefits from a third row of seats that can be folded, thus obtaining an increased capacity of the trunk, and also the option to glide the second row of seats on the space obtained by folding the 3rd row chairs. The sound insulation was significantly increased, including at high speeds.

Opel/Vauxhall Zafira Tourer comes with a 1.4 liter engine, which has a Start/Stop system. The concept is equipped with an adaptive FlexRide suspension. The production version will be unveiled at Frankfurt Motor Show this fall.
