Bentley decided to offer a little facelift to the Continental GT. In terms of exterior design, changes are minor, yet Bentley's engineers and designers say it's a totally new car. It seems that in terms of style, those from Bentley believed that it was not the case for some major changes to the car, because the lines are very successful.
They didn't wanted to change the current style, because they didn't wanted major differences between the new coupe and, sedan version, Flying Spur and the convertible one, the GTC, which will not be changed with new generations yet.
Length and width remained the same, front and back underwent some minor changes, but welcome in my opinion. Contemplating the back, I think without wanting to Porsche Panamera. There is a little resemblance between them.
Regarding interior rear of the passenger compartment became more spacious.
The engine remains the same 6-liter W12, but with increased power, he now developing 575 bhp, compared to 560 developed before.
The new Continental GT has a lower mass with 65 kg. It reaches to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the previous version, and traction is integral as before. Since 2011, there will be a smaller version of Continental GT, which will have a 4-liter V8 engine, with emissions reduced by 40%.
Bentley Continental GT facelift will be admired this fall at the Paris auto show.
