BMW 6 Series Convertible will come with a glass roof, which is the principal aesthetic delight. It is still unknown if this roof will be electrocromatic, as in case of the new Mercedes SLK. The two models belong to two different segments, but an electromagnetic ceiling would make the Bavarians to steal a good portion of customers that until now preferred an E-Klasse convertible.Regarding the engines, they will be two in number. It's about the 640i version, equipped with 3.0 liter biturbo motor gasoline, offering a stud of 320 horses. The second variant is called 650i. It benefits also of a biturbo engine, but displacement has a value of 4.4 liters and is capable of producing 408 horsepower.
Entry-level version starts from 89 342 euros (123,211 $) with taxes, while the top version starts at 103,664 euros (142,963 $) with taxes. These prices do not express the value of the glass roof version, but of the BMW 6 Series Convertible standard version.
