Official: Mercedes unveiled the new C63 AMG

The German giant has decided to offer to the public the first official information and images with the new AMG performance division model. It will be launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

From an aesthetic point of view, the model has many features found on the standard C-Klasse. Compared with the current C63, the new facelift
has a restyled grille, revised headlamps, a back whose aggressive allure is enhanced by a black diffuser. Bonnet also underwent changes. The wheels that loades the fresh model are 235/40 (front) and 225/35 (rear).

The interior was also subjected to a
restyling treatment.

As for engines, C63 will continue to be powered by the same 6.2-liter V8 engine and 457 horses. But the engine is more generous in terms of power, if it's included a performance package that the manufacturer's offering to the more demanding customers.

This model will have the new MCT seven-speed transmission.

Performance version of C-Klasse comes with a series of buttons that are designed to adapt to the needs of every car driver. Thus, the model disposes of C (Comfort) mode, S (Sport), S + (Sport Plus) and M (Manual). C63 benefits from Race Start system, which offers a faster start.

C63 sedan reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds, while the estate version is slower by 0.1 seconds. Top speed is limited to 249 km/h (155 mph).
