Kia shows the first picture with interior of the new Picanto. Also, the Korean manufacturer provided information on the engine.Inside the new model A class greets us with a quite elegant and discreet look at the same time. The cabin has increased slightly in size and comes with a trunk capacity by 27% higher.
New Picanto shows a sportier design, the body being being sprinkled by something more exciting lines. It comes in first with a two-door version.
In terms of engines, the small "city toy " of Koreans will be available in four versions: three variants equipped with a 1.0-liter engine with three cylinders (petrol, flex-fuel and bi-fuel), the most powerful version having under the hood a 1.2 liter unit. The four units are offering between 69 and 85 horsepower and a torque range between 94 and 121 Nm.
Koreans have implemented the ISG technology on all models for the European market for a significant consumption efficiency. Picanto "eats" between 4.1 and 5.6 liters. Emissions will start from 90 g/100 km, but will not exceed 100 g. Kia Picanto will offer on the Old Continent both versions with manual, and with automatic transmission.
