The first spy photos of the new Mercedes SL 63 AMG in winter testing have appeared. During these tests phographers were able to surprize also an SLS AMG Roadster. Certainly, the new SL 63 will take some elements of the SLS.The prototype from images benefits of perforated discs with six-piston brake both front and rear. These discs are larger than those on the standard SL model.
The most interesting element of the new SL 63 AMG is the bi-turbo engine of 5.5 liters, which develops 571 horsepower. German fireball is equipped with an AMG Speedshift MCT 7 transmission. The Germans have already implemented the 5.5-liter engine on the S-Klasse, but the 571 horsepower version features a sport package.
