Honda HSV-010 - a racing supercar

Although Honda has a tradition in sports models in recent years they have left a little soft, neglecting this exciting segment. There is however a first sign that Honda is still interested in this segment and we have the HSV-010, only for the circuit. The "Black Beast' aims a very dramatic competition and welcomed in Japan, the Super GT Series, GT500 class, the supercar will face other serious fireballs, such as Nissan GT-R, Toyota SC430 or Aston Martin DBR9. The new model replaces the old Honda NSX Super GT that japanese were still using it in this competition, because of the changes of regulation stipulating only had front-engined models for the coming season. As specification HSV-010 is impressive, with a 3.4 liter V10 engine developing around 500 hp and 400 Nm of torque. It weighs around 1100 kilograms. Its measures are 4675 mm long and 2,000 mm wide, and the wheelbase is 2700 mm.

The model will begin in May on the circuit, starting the new Super GT
season.
There is no information to make us think that this model could debut in the serial version. But we think , after it will test it the most demanding conditions, maybe they will create a street version. As did Lexus, which has placed the concept Lexus LF-A in the 24H race Nurbrugring when he was in experimental phase.
